Information Notice on the Processing of Personal Data
Dear Visitor, we would like to inform you as per the pertinent provisions of the Personal Data Protection Law.
Your personal data including any type of information and special personal data that may identify you may be processed by Fatinoğlu Holding acting as data controller (the “Company”) in accordance with the pertinent provisions of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (the “PDPL”).
The processing of personal data refers to any type of action carried out on the respective data such as those intended to obtain, record, store, maintain, change, re-arrange, disclose, transfer, classify or prevent the disclosure of the personal data.
We attach great importance to the protection of your personal data. We would like to underline that we will take all types of measures in this respect and act transparently.
Which Personal Data of Yours Do We Process?
Name & surname, Date of birth, Place of birth, Turkish ID Number, E-mail address, Contact address, Registered electronic mail address (KEP), Phone number, Payroll details, Disciplinary proceeding, Employment records, Curriculum vitae details, Performance assessment reports. Details on the correspondences exchanged with judicial authorities, Information contained in case files, Invoice, promissory note and check details, Order details, Request details, Information on employees and those visiting the Company, Camera records, IP details, Information on those visiting the website, Password details, Diploma details, Biometric data of the employees, Professional details, Shopping details, Cookie records, Details obtained through campaigns, Personal health details, Information on convictions.
Purposes of Processing Personal Data
Your personal data collected by us may be used for the purposes of providing the legal and commercial security of the Company and those who are in a business relationship with the Company; carrying out the satisfaction assessments for our current customers; following the requests and complaints; performing the company, product and service loyalty processes; following and proceeding legal affairs; carrying out training activities; managing organizations and events; carrying our sales, marketing, purchasing and after-sales support processes; performing financial and accounting transactions; conducting marketing analyses; carrying out business operations; carrying out internal audit processes; carrying out occupational health and safety operations; fulfilling the obligations to inform the respective/competent public departments (Courts, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Labor and Social Security, Ministry of the Interior etc.); ensuring that the human resources policies of the Company are properly carried out; carrying out information and physical security processes; carrying out the storage and archiving activities and; ensuring that the business operations are properly performed.
Transfer of Your Personal Data
Your personal data are processed and securely stored for the purposes listed above, and not disclosed to any third party without your explicit consent. Based on the respective legal bases and your consent, your personal data may be transferred to the respective public authorities due to the legal obligations as set forth under the applicable legislations such as the Turkish Commercial Code, the Tax Procedure Law, the Social Security Law, the Labor Law, the Occupational Health and Safety Law, the Professional Competence Authority Law, the Occupational Physicians Law etc.; to brokerage houses for the assessment of financial risks; to independent audit firms in order to conduct audit processes; to educational institutions for vocational training programs; to our business partners, legal entity and individual subsidiaries, shareholders, suppliers, authorized public departments and, local/international institutions from which we receive supports to perform our business processes.
How to Collect your Personal Data
Your personal data are gathered by the Company through different channels and based on different legal reasons in order to audit and carry out our commercial operations. Your data are collected on digital media through electronic methods and, on printed media through physical manners. Within the scope of the activities intended to carry out the commercial processes, your personal data are gathered through various methods also in a way that is obtained outside Fatinoğlu Holding including our local/international subsidiaries, shareholders, such institutions and organizations we act in collaboration, public authorities and other third parties through Order forms, Customer information forms, Return forms, Supplier information forms, contact details forms, Purchase request forms, Current account opening forms, Other commercial documents, Payment details, Commercial papers, Candidate application forms, Complaint/request/contact forms, Assignment and debit forms and other documents/forms that you may use whether in writing or electronically, fully or semi automatically or non-automatically as part of any data recording system.
Your Rights Listed on the Article 11 of the PDPL
In case you in the capacity of data subject forward to our Company your request concerning your rights hereunder through the following methods listed in this Information Notice, the Company shall conclude your request as soon as possible and within a period not later than thirty (30) days for free of charge. However, a fee may be collected as per the tariff described by the Company if it is provided by the Personal Data Protection Board.
Accordingly, concerning your personal data, you are entitled to:
a) learn if your personal data is processed,
b) request information accordingly if your personal data is processed,
c) learn the purpose of the processing of your personal data and if it is used accordingly,
d) know about such third parties, to whom your personal data is transferred locally or internationally,
e) request for the correction if your personal data is processed deficiently or inaccurately and; request that such third parties, to whom your personal data is transferred, are informed accordingly,
f) ask for the deletion or destruction of your personal data if the reasons requiring the processing thereof are no longer valid, although your personal data has been processed pursuant to the PDPL and other relevant legislations, and request that such third parties, to whom your personal data is transferred, are informed accordingly,
g) object to any consequences against you by means of analyzing the data processed only by automatic systems and,
h) request for compensation of your losses if you suffer from any loss due to the fact that you data is illegally processed.
How a Data Subject Makes a Request to the Data Controller
As per the PDPL, you may forward to the Company your request concerning the exercise of the above-mentioned rights in writing or through other methods as designated by the Personal Data Protection Board.
You are expected to communicate your requests to the Company in writing by means of submitting the documents that identify you as a data subject. Accordingly, in order to ensure that your applications to the Company as per the article 11 of the PDPL are handled in a reliable and quick manner, you are advised to use the “

”under the tab Personal Data Protection at https://www.fatinoglu.com.tr/ and, make your request in person or via e-mail by means of submitting such documents/information that may be requested depending on your request as well as such documents that identify you.
In addition, you may submit the data subject request form to [email protected] using your secure electronic signature or through [email protected] as an offline user.
You may submit your applications to us using the “Data Subject Request Form” and by means of the methods already indicated and to be subsequently as set forth under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and designated by the Personal Data Protection Board.
